The food here was expensive but outstanding and so worth it. Top 10 dinners I’ve ever eaten. We ate many dishes, but the monkfish was the best seafood dish I have ever eaten. Other hits include the barnacles, oysters (enormous), and the Norwegian lobster.

Excellent food! I’ll start by the desert: I had an Irish coffee, it was just perfect, when I saw the three colors of white, black and beige perfectly separated I knew I had the best Irish coffee a guest can have. We ordered fish of course, everything was absolutely superb! None of us tried meat but I bet it is excellent too. The waiter was also the chef and he was very friendly but sometimes he was a bit too intrusive.

We had dinner in the comedor. The ingredients were fresh, and they served a variety of local dishes that highlight the Basque Country's ingredients.

One of the finest restaurants you’ll find. After closing in 2022, it thankfully reopened in 2024—and it's better than ever. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can choose from a daily menu, à la carte options, or even combine both—especially convenient if you're dining with kids.

Amazing classic basque dishes cooked with care, pride and artistry. The dishes are only matched by the attentive and courteous staff. I will return 100 times.

We drove by and planned to have a quick lunch. However, we were amazed by the seafood here and ended up spending 2 hours for food. :) love percebes and had 3 plates of local green pepper :) ordered some other dishes too, all of them are delicious. Owner/chief was super friendly. We don’t know much Spanish and they helped us out, made sure we ordered what we want and wether price is ok for us for some slightly more expensive dishes. Hope we would travel to this part of Spain again and could come back again. :) thank you!
